The new Necron codex is great. The force org options and formations encourage buying new kits, which could be really slimy and off-putting if done to an extreme, but most of the slots are built around core units that players already have, with one or two new models needed.
I never would have considered tomb blades, but as they are required for the new core detachment, the reclamation legion, what choice did I have? Fortunately, the kit is not that expensive, is fun to build, and actually adds some variety to the force.
I'm happy with the way these turned out, and will upload some studio photos in the future.

ReplyDeleteI never thought of switching the guns and the vanes around. Cheeky! Did you paint these assembled? How much of a pain in the arse is it? I love the way you've shaded/highlighted the runes on the fairing.
