WIP: Deathwatch Overkill - Zameon Gydrael


I'm a sucker for a guy who marches into battle wearing a cloak.

Dark Angels are cool. Great lore and a great color scheme. I also dig the cloaks.

After I primed Zameon Gydrael (sheesh) I jumped the gun and painted his arm and sword. Once I realized it would be best to airbrush the cloak, I masked the arms with poster putty and went to town. The gradients and highlight turned out well, I think.



After that, it was just a matter of finishing the details and basing him. And that competes Squad Donatus!

    Sweet Heretic... I’ve always liked the mysterious lore, just what did they do? Who is beneath the Rock? Why hunt and kill the unforgiven?
