One year ago this week, we started our blog. Let's take a moment to recap what we've accomplished.

What a weekend - Friday, my first child was born, and on September 17th, The Hammer of Wrath will turn one year old! We started out to create a place where our hobby progress could be shared with the community, and promised regular updates on monday, wednesday and friday. By keeping that promise, not only did we get a creative outlet, but we got feedback from each other, as well as our regular readers.

Our very first post was a simple one, announcing our beginning. Over the course of the year, we created 172 posts, added an additional contributor, and generated hundreds of comments and 50,000 pageviews!

We created swarms of termigants, squads of space marines, monstrous creatures, tanks, our first psykers, grey knights, scenery, and two complete Tau armies, among countless other tutorials, game recaps and reviews.

It's been a hell of a year!

A special thank you to Dieter, my co-collaborator, Darian, our newest contributor, and to everyone who visits and comments regularly, inspiring us to keep posting our progress.

  1. Congrats! Looking forward to your continued projects and progress!

  2. Man, I wonder how much I would have painted without this gun pointed to my head. It's been a great motivator. On the other hand, it's probably cost me $500 in extra models and materials for projects I'm "going to do", haha.
